Diane Morgan
Diane Morgan is an English actress, comedian and writer. Originally from Bolton, Greater Manchester, she studied at East 15 Acting School before playing Dawn in ''Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights''. As a stand-up comedian she was placed second in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Award 2006 and runner-up in the 2006 Funny Women Awards.
Since then she has appeared on numerous episodes of BBC's ''Mock the Week''〔("Mock the Week" ), Series 10, Episode 2, BBC Two.〕 and has continued to work with fellow comedian Joe Wilkinson as part of the deadpan sketch group "Two Episodes of Mash".〔("Two Episodes of Mash" ), Radio 2's Comedy Showcase, BBC Radio 2, 2010.〕 She can also be seen in Sky's comedy drama ''Mount Pleasant'' as receptionist Talia.
==Two Episodes of Mash ==
Morgan with Joe Wilkinson form the sketch duo "Two Episodes of Mash". From 2008, they performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for three consecutive years, and have appeared on Robert Webb's satirical news show ''Robert's Web''.〔("Robert's Web" ), Channel 4.〕 In 2012, the group completed their second BBC radio series〔(Series 2: Two Episodes of Mash ), BBC Radio 4.〕 (co-starring David O'Doherty), and appeared in BBC Three's ''Live at the Electric''.
